Mark Stevens

Building great websites for
Fort Worth businesses.

Yes, you need a website.

Every business, no matter how small, benefits significantly from a well-conceived and constructed website. Think your phonebook ad is sufficient? Today people are far more likely to search for stores and services from their home computer, tablet or smartphone than in a printed phonebook. Sure, your business might get listed on an online directory of local businesses, but shoppers consider a professional, attractive website to be a sign of commitment and quality. Isn't that the message you want to convey?

What will I do for you?

I'll get your message across. I code websites for high search rankings, and always use "responsive" layouts that adjust to look great whether viewed on a desktop computer, tablet or iPhone. I never use templates when designing, as only "coding from scratch" can give your website the unique look and functionality needed to attract business.

Why you should hire me.

Tarrant County businesses are my sole area of focus, and will work closely with you to create a website that will drive new customers your way. I'm a one-man show, so nothing will get lost in translation between team members.
I know websites, but you know what you like: I'll build a site that's effective while also fitting your personal vision. I combine both artistry and technology in a way that will reach the audience you've missed, and I'm affordable too. No, really.

Time for a facelift?

Perhaps you have a site already. Does it reflect the calibre of service or product you provide? Nothing leaves a negative impression like a tacky website. I can give your business a strong, attractive online presence.

Recent project:

Cooper Street Antique Mall

A new antique mall in Arlington, Texas. The folks at Cooper Street Antique Mall wanted a simple, elegant design, something that would reflect the feel of the place. I went with muted colors, subtle textures, and incorporated a slideshow of photos that capture some of the beautiful items found there. (yes, I take photographs too) As always, I constructed a layout that automatically adapts to the screen sizes of various devices, so it renders nicely on a desktop computer, tablet or smartphone.

What people are saying:

"With a business which had not previously had a website, and being very inexperienced in internet technology, we trusted Mark to design a website that was professional, sharp, and contemporary but would still convey the fun atmosphere and wide selection our mall offers. We are pleased with our website, and, as he continues to maintain and update the site, Mark has been a joy to work with. He listens to all our ideas and works hard to make sure we are satisfied with the results."

Chris Sheidler,
Montgomery Street Antique Mall

"When a professional organization I belong to wanted a new site created, we started looking for a designer. Based on a reference, I contacted Mark Stevens and the decision turned out to be a wise one. We had some specific ideas about the content and as I discussed with Mark, he offered excellent suggestions. We worked closely together during the whole process, bouncing ideas off each other until we agreed on a particular look. Mark is extremely easy to work with, is open to his customer's suggestions and provides a quality end product. When completed, we were so proud of our new website! The color scheme is pleasing to the eye, it's extremely user friendly and easy to navigate between the pages, and very professional looking. I highly recommend Mark Stevens to design and maintain your website!"

Betty Ellis,
Bangs Business Association

"Mark was responsible for building the website that acknowledges and preserves the history of the lamp factory in Bangs, Texas, Texans Incorporated. As a member of the Board of Directors of the Brown County Museum of History, I was able to get into the archive files of the Brownwood Bulletin which had been donated to the Brown County Museum by the newspaper. Much of the Bangs plant history had been documented in the various Brownwood Bulletin publications, and that, combined with extensive research, pulled the story together. That is when texansinc.com was born. I worked closely with Mark as he developed this website. I would recommend Mark to any one who wishes to have a modern, functional website. He continually updated the site, changed the appearance of the site almost daily until the website became what you see today. Mark would make changes and call for my opinion regarding the appearance of the website changes...and each change was always an improvement. I believe anyone desiring a website would be satisfied with Mark's work."
